Summary: Responsible for all aspects of site supervision, including participating in the staffing process, hiring, discipline, promotions and terminations, drivers schedules, payroll documentation and managing the Drug and Alcohol Program including pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing. This position requires being available to respond during all days and hours of operation to include evenings and weekends as determined by system needs. This position also requires comprehensive knowledge of transit operations, customer relations, and the art of supervision.
Requirements:
- Five years increasingly responsible supervisory experience, preferably in public transportation.
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have no moving traffic violations in the past three (3) years AND no involvement in any at-fault accidents within the past five years as evidenced by current driving abstract. Abstract dated no more than one month prior to hire date must be provided by applicant.
- Valid Washington State Driver's License.
- Current Vehicle Insurance.
- Employment is contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Pre-employment Drug Screen, a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks and all other required documentation.
- This is a "Safety Sensitive" position. Safety Sensitive employees will also be subject to the provisions mandated by US Department of Transportation FTA 49 CFR Part 655 regarding our drug and alcohol program.
Wage Range: $22.58 to $29.47/Hour
Starting Wage: $22.58/Hour (plus a comprehensive benefits program)
