Summary: Under the direction of the Transportation Operations Manager, the Transportation Manager is responsible for overseeing the Transportation Operations Supervisor and the Yakima Transportation Department. Areas of responsibility include management of the Yakima site, ensuring contract compliance, hiring, discipline, and the Drug and Alcohol Program. This position requires comprehensive knowledge of transit operations, customer relations, and the art of management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or four years' work experience in public administration, business administration, transportation or other related field. A combination of education and work experience may apply.
- Working knowledge of transit systems and other transportation contracts.

- Employment is further contingent upon successfully completing and passing a Washington State Patrol Background Check and/or National Background Check, Reference Checks, and other required documents.
- Travel is required for this position and work may be performed during and after business hours and weekends.

Driver's Abstract: No moving violations within the past three years and no at fault accidents within the last five years.
Starting Wage: $27.87/Hour plus a comprehensive benefits package.
