Virginia Mason Memorial Senior Information Security Analyst in Yakima, Washington
This Senior Information Security Analystensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data access and application design, in compliance with State and Federal laws and organizational policies and standards. The role requires a high level of experience and knowledge to oversee the interpretation, development, and implementation of complex information security solutions. May provide Project Management oversight to support Information Security related initiatives. Ensures security controls and configurations meet applicable standards. Conducts reviews of audit logs, system patches, environmental vulnerability scanning, etc. Demonstrates commitment to the core mission of healthcare and Virginia Mason Memorial (VMM) from an Information Security perspective. Assesses system security risks and the associated mitigation strategies to address.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related field required. Related experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Minimum five years’ experience in Information Security required.
Experience: Knowledge of Information Security regulatory requirements, such as PCI, HIPAA, HITECH and the Joint Commission required. Knowledge of Information Security Standards such as NIST, COBIT, ITIL, ISO preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Security Certifications such as Security+, GIAC, CISM, CISSP preferred.
