Virginia Mason Memorial MRI Technologist in Yakima, Washington


Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (“MRI Technologist”) performs magnetic resonance imaging procedures of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the licensed Provider. The MRI Technologist is expected to perform a variety of magnetic resonance imaging procedures with the knowledge and ability of obtaining diagnostic-quality procedures on all ages of patients.


Education: Graduations from a Radiology education program under the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) required.

Experience: Minimum two years of experience as a Radiology Technologist preferred.

Licenses/Certificates/Registration: American Heart Association BLS required. Registration with American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required. American Registry of Radiology Technologists MRI Certification required within one year of hire date. Washington State DOH Radiology certification required.
