Responsibilities

Summary Responsible for performing Return to Service of repair and overhaul of articles.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities • Follows priorities and work schedules established for personnel to meet established repair station goals. • Reviews work processes to support and encourage continuous improvement. • Facilitates daily communication within the repair station to ensure consistency and increase efficiency. • Interacts with Aftermarket Administration to ensure the responsive support of our customers. • Assumes responsibility for Return to Service activities, checking all paperwork for accuracy, content, and adherence to applicable regulatory and customer requirements, and then creating and signing the appropriate airworthiness certificates. • Ensures they are adequately trained and proficient in all methods, techniques, practices, FARs and regulatory information, AS9110 requirements, and equipment used to accomplish the Return to Service of repair and overhaul of articles. • Ensures all work performed is properly recorded on the appropriate maintenance records. • Reference the Repair Station and Quality Manual for additional duties, responsibilities, and authority. • Ensures inspections are completed as defined by repair work order operations. • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge and Experience • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent required. • Associate's degree in mechanical or manufacturing technology preferred. • Must be certificated under FAR Part 65 and have comprehensive knowledge of all applicable FARs. • Minimum five (5) years with a Part 145 Repair Station in the repair and overhaul of components and and/or airplane systems. Preferred: FAA Repairman and/or FAA - A&P. • Must have working knowledge of geometric tolerancing, gages, micrometers, borescopes and other measuring tools • Problem identification and resolution skills • Experience with quality management systems compliant with AS9100 and knowledgeable of AS9102 First Article Inspection Report requirements preferred • Ability to apply geometry and trigonometry skills to solve problems and calibrate equipment • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a strong customer focus • Ability to build strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and external customers

Position Pay Range: $23.82 - $33.63/Hour. Hiring range and position pay range may differ, commensurate with education level, qualifications, and experience.
