Introduction to the team

The Infrastructure Senior Manager will lead our IT infrastructure group in modernizing our traditional infrastructure services to grow and deliver at scale with a focus on Azure cloud capabilities, strategy development, and execution. This role is responsible for the leadership of the teams, vendors, services, and technology for the infrastructure business line.

The Infrastructure Senior Manager will have experience leading IT transformations, building highly collaborative teams, leading an overall strategy with a deep understanding of industry trends, and have and a robust knowledge of cloud and traditional architecture. A successful Infrastructure Senior Manager will have strong interpersonal and leadership skills, an agile mindset, and a positive attitude.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the teams responsible for developing, implementing and operating Cloud capabilities, services, strategy, and roadmaps

  • Lead the strategic direction, programs, projects, and growth and development of all functions of infrastructure, including network, telephony, platforms, end points, Cloud, and A/V

  • Develop and implement transformational infrastructure initiatives that build and maintain a culture of agility, including the strategy and oversight of execution of automation capabilities across all infrastructure functions

  • Consolidate, standardize, and increase operations capabilities in pursuit of continuous improvement

  • Lead the effectiveness of vendor and partner relationships in collaboration with internal teams to execute on strategic vision and to support firm growth

  • Lead and build effective stakeholder and partnership alliances across the organization, while developing and presenting data-based initiatives and solutions in a clear, concise, and organized manner that accounts for business need and impact

  • Develop and implement change management processes and encourage growth mindset to accommodate business changes and objectives

  • Develop and oversee governance structure of the infrastructure team, including setting and driving expectations, guidelines, policies, and processes while collaborating with other key internal partners to determine infrastructure effectiveness and value

  • Lead and participate in infrastructure taskforces, initiatives, and programs that support the strategy of IT and the firm

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required; emphasis in Business, Technology or related field preferred

  • Minimum of 10 years of related experience in a complex IT organization required; including demonstrated experience managing and delivering infrastructure strategy and design; experience in public accounting or professional services environment preferred

  • Exceptional communication and change management skills with the ability to establish relationships and build rapport with internal stakeholders, executives, and external clients.

  • Effective time management and organizational skills, proven ability to prioritize while simultaneously managing numerous projects/processes often under tight deadlines

  • Self-directed professional with the ability to use interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence others

  • Strong experience coaching and managing a team including managing the work of remote team members to drive accountability to contribute to the firm’s goals and objectives

  • Proven ability to identify, develop, and leverage vendor partnerships to increase agility and deliver services at scale

  • Advanced understanding of core ITIL/ITSM frameworks, Lean, Six Sigma, Agile, COBIT, ISO 20000, Azure or Cloud frameworks, Microsoft and Cisco Networking or equivalent infrastructure processes and frameworks

  • Proven ability to develop cloud teams, strategy, processes and capabilities at enterprise scale

  • Strong executive presence and demonstrated leadership skills, good judgment, and ability to effectively interface with employees and leaders at all levels within the firm

  • Ability to travel as needed, up to 5%
