Yakima County Contract Administrator in Yakima, Washington

Contract Administrator$27.15 per hour, plus benefitsThere is one opening with Yakima County Public Services Department, County Roads Division. The position is responsible for providing contract administration services for all Public Services road and bridge improvement projects, Solid Waste and other Public Services projects as assigned for Facilities, Water Resources and Traffic Divisions. Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Accounting and Five years construction project administration and/or construction accounting experience or the equivalent combination of education and experience to perform the essential duties of the job. Required: Computer skills using Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel and Outlook); solid understanding of GASB (generally accepted accounting systems, procedures and practices). Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Construction management. Experience drafting and administering construction work contracts for public sector.
