We are looking for a driven CAD Technician with interest and experience in Transportation projects to support our Yakima team.   Our Transportation team consists of multiple discipline specialists such as Roadway, Drainage, Traffic, Structures, Environmental, and Survey, and in this role you will have the opportunity to work with multiple discipline leads as project scopes dictate.

As a CAD Technician, you will have the chance to work with our engineering and technical staff designing facilities for transportation corridor infrastructure projects including railroads, highways, bridges, drainage infrastructure, and other transportation facilities. Working with other members of the team, you will support development of construction document packages and schematic designs based on scope of project, design criteria, applicable codes and standards, and quality control processes.

Typical salary range for this position is $18.89/hour to $33.02/hour and is commensurate with experience relative to the position. For “remote” positions, salary to be offered is geographic dependent.

Here’s What You’ll Need:

· HS Diploma, or equivalent

· Previous CAD experience in the preparation of plans and contract drawings

· Effective and collaborative communication skills

· Work with attention to detail and a focus on quality to meet deadlines

· Ability to manage time and priorities on multiple concurrent assignments

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

· Advanced coursework towards an Associate Degree in Civil Engineering

· Technology, or a closely related field

· Experience with MicroStation preferred or AutoCAD Design Software

· Experience using Microsoft Office, including Teams virtual meetings
