The Yakima Valley Memorial (YVM) Administrative Fellowship program offers Fellows the opportunity to contribute their talents, skills and knowledge to some of our highest priority initiatives and projects. Through these projects, the Fellow will have the opportunity to change the lives of those we serve, impact our hospital operations and create healthy communities one person at a time. In collaboration with a preceptor, works to identify project opportunities that align with his/her personal and career goals as well as the organization’s needs.
Participates in high-level discussions regarding strategic and operational issues.
Utilizes self-direction in collaboration with mentor to identify, develop, and complete project(s) that provide support and innovation at YVM.
Attend appropriate leadership meetings and provide meaningful contributions.
Participate in rotations in critical areas.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
Education: Completion of coursework in a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration. Business Administration, or related field required at time of hire.
Experience: Previous healthcare experience preferred.
