Job Description Summary: The Production Plant Technician has the responsibility for the operation and control of equipment used in air separation, vacuum swing absorption and carbon dioxide plants.; also, accountability for the care and maintenance of plant mechanical, instrumentation and electrical devices and equipment. The position will provide support to various types of processing plants in order to support startups, training and leave coverage for normal production technicians. __Are you a MATCH? Required Qualifications High School Diploma Understanding of control valve functions and systems used to control flows & pressures on industrial tanks Experience troubleshooting equipment in a plant environment Preferred Qualifications Associates Degree Preferred in A Technical Field. 1-3 years of industrial plant / cryogenic plant experience preferred. Water Treatment - understanding the water treatment principles and equipment is a plus. Electrical/ Instrumentation background is a plus. OTHER REQUIREMENTS: May be assigned and must be willing to work rotating shifts. Must be able to wear required PPE safety equipment including, hardhat, safety glasses, safety. shoes/boots, ear protection, and possible respirator protection. Must be able to lift 60 lbs. Must be willing to travel as needed for training or to support other sites. Follows policies and procedures and adheres to notification procedures for vacation scheduling, floating holidays, and personal days off.
