Histology Technologist I is responsible for performing all routine procedures in orienting, sectioning, and staining tissue specimens to produce slides which will aid pathologists in diagnosis, work in a team focus environment to achieve common goals and meet deadlines to provide quality care to clients and patients. Schedule: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm/ Monday - Friday You Will: Embed, cut, and stain tissue blocks according to designated procedures Perform advanced staining Prepare reagents and stains according to designated procedures Submit derms and one-steppers Maintain knowledge of current CAP requirements Maintain equipment, instruments, and supplies as needed Perform or assist with validation studies Assist in operational oversight Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications: Education / Certifications: associate degree a minimum and possess an active HT or HTL (ASCP certified) Two years of anatomical laboratory experience, with experience in embedding, cutting/staining Knowledge in medical terminology Incyte Diagnostics is an EOE, including disability/veterans We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package* which includes medical, dental, and vision benefits, life and disability benefits, a retirement plan, paid holidays, PTO/vacation benefits, and floating holidays.
