Responsible for developing, negotiating, and administering complex contracts, ensuring compliance on supplier cost, schedule, legal and performance criteria. Functions and Responsibilities * Any other duties as assigned to help drive our vision, fulfill our commitments, and carry out our organization's virtues. * Responsible for all phases of the commodity including long-term contracting processes including but not limited to requests for proposals/quotations, contract management plans, negotiation strategy, and cost accountability. * Serves as the division's focal point for all material related activities including developing a procurement plan, make/buy analysis, selecting potential sources of supply, and recommending new or alternate technologies. * Selects qualified suppliers and manufacturers and develops new supply sources of high dollar value, long lead time, critically needed parts, equipment, materials, or services. * Frequent formal and informal contact with suppliers and management regarding issues affecting supplier's performance or cost. * Solicits and evaluates proposals/quotations from suppliers and negotiates prices and terms to achieve optimum results for the company. Prepares and conducts market surveys to select supplier. * Negotiates long-term contract agreements with key suppliers to obtain effective prices, terms, products, and services. Prepares contracts, statement of work, supplier data requirement lists, contractual documents and amendments as required to comply with contract specifications. * Closely monitors supplier performance to ensure contractual agreements, terms, and conditions are compliant. * Conducts supplier site visits and evaluates capacity and capability, performance and delivery, and other key business criteria. * Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. Work assignments may include cross-functional or project team responsibilities (e.g., continuous improvement). Qualifications * Bachelor's degree (BA) in Business Administration or related field (e.g., finance, law/contract law; program management). * Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of increasingly responsible experience in contract administration or procurement including two or more years of high-level project and customer/supplier management. * Certificate
