LifePort, located in Woodland, WA is currently searching for a dependable, energized, and results oriented Assistant Program Manager.
The Assistant Program Manager works in business operations organization supporting program/product areas; and performs activities that drive efficient planning and execution of enterprise financial and resource investments across various functions, including but not limited to operations, supply chain, program management, sustainment, business finance, and/or contracts. The following are more specifics about this position: - Helps manage various products/programs to ensure LifePort meets customer requirements. - Helps manage customer relations with internal/external customers. - Is a point of contact for customers and interacts with customers to understand customer requirements, identifies immediate and emerging customer needs, provides updates on product/program status, etc. - Maintains knowledge of all customer requirements through knowledge of contracts, purchase orders, warranty claims, etc. - Works closely with support groups to ensure that customer requirements are met. - Coordinates with the cross functional departments to ensure customer commitments are met. - Complies with company’s policies, procedures, guidelines, standards, etc. - Upholds company values, maintains ethical conduct, and promotes mission and vision. - Demonstrates commitment to achieving safety goals and objectives including compliance with all applicable policies, procedures and training requirements for a safe workplace. - Supports Continuous Improvement processes and initiatives for functional areas of responsibility. - Develops/maintains performance metrics and manages to highest efficiency. - Completes special projects commensurate with management role. - Assists in other areas commensurate with experience as needed.
Basic Qualifications - Ability to lead and manage several components of a project or a complex component of a larger project. - Ability to use data and metrics to assess performance against plan and develop improvement projects for metrics below plan. - Fully developed Program Management knowledge/experience, and able to work with little guidance. - Knowledge of aviation maintenance repair and overhaul practices a plus. - Strong communication skills both verbally and written. - Ability to read and interpret instructions from customers via Contracts, Purchase Orders, and Warranty Claims. - Knowledge/experience with Lean and/or continuous improvement methodologies. - Proficiency in ERP/MRP/SAP and MS Office products. - Position may require 10% travel.
