In this role, you have the opportunity to : Support a medical device manufacturing factory in receiving, returns, warehousing, material replenishment on the production floor, and shipping finished goods. Perform various physical distribution tasks according to prescribed working instructions, including receiving, storing and picking goods, transporting goods with the aid of industrial equipment, performing cycle counts, and driving the inner-facility transfer truck. You are responsible for:
Manually or mechanically load and unload materials from pallets, skids, platforms, cars, lifting devices, or other transport vehicles.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas in order to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies and adjust errors.
Receive, store, move and pack outgoing materials, equipment, and other items from warehouse.
Safely use pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other material handling equipment. Wear of safety toed shoes is a requirement.
Create, update, adhere to and enforce safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
Ensure the physical and administrative tasks involved in receiving, inspection, storage and fulfillment (shipping) of materials within assigned storage locations are completed accurately.
Ensure bin locations are maintained and materials are labeled appropriately.
Audit shipments to assure quality and accuracy.
Complete data entry and file records of material movements and other records.
Constantly maintain training as delivered through training management system (TMS, “TEDs”) and as assigned by leadership.
Work with internal customers and external suppliers as required, and communicate the needs of the workgroup.
Ensure all communications are answered promptly, (within 24 hours) and accurately.
Occasional evening and weekend work, shift work.
Team lift up to 50lbs occasionally, individually lift 25lbs regularly.
This position will not have any direct reports, but may be called on to act as a team lead or as an instructor.
You are a part of: The Warehouse Team in Woodinville. To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
High school education or equivalent and 3+ years of related experience.
Average comprehension skills, knowledge of SAP computer systems, comfortable with unit and currency conversion.
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple assignments.
Ability to learn and effectively utilize company provided software for the management of materials within manufacturing facility including, tracking purchases, receipt of materials, and return or replacement items.
Effective time management skills.
Ability to follow established departmental policies, procedures, objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
