Description A Senior Tax Accountant job in Woodinville, WA is available at Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (SMWE). The Senior Tax Accountant will be responsible for calculating and filing of sales/use and excise tax returns, ensuring payment of taxes, recording all tax related entries, monitoring general ledger accounts, and reconciling tax balances. Senior Tax Accountant job responsibilities include: Prepare, file, and pay multi-state sales/use and excise tax returns for Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and all of its associated entities Prepare indirect accruals and all monthly tax related journal entries Review invoices for use tax accruals Prepare, file, and pay property tax returns and prepare property tax accruals and monthly tax related journal entries Prepare reconciliations for all tax related general ledger accounts, research discrepancies and execute corrections Position Requirements: Accounting degree required CPA credentials required 3+ years of tax accounting experience. Strong knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial concepts with emphasis on taxes. Your Compensation: \$80,554 - 104,656/yr. based upon relevant experience. At Ste.
