About this role: The Senior Financial Analyst (SFA), Global FP&A is responsible for advancing the capabilities of the global Finance & Accounting organization, driving best practices in sales and financial planning and initiatives. These responsibilities enable the Finance organization to meet Precor's long term revenue, profit, and cash flow objectives while driving efficiencies.

This position will report to the Global Director of Finance. This position is an individual contributor position.

The focus of this role is the operational effectiveness of Precor's global finance organization in achieving the specific business objectives set forth each year. The SFA, Global FP&A, will work closely with the sales leadership and sales operations teams of all three regions—Americas, EMEA, and APAC—and with stakeholders in other departments to build aggregate sales revenue forecasts and utilize this data to prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts. The SFA will prepare monthly commentaries analyzing our global financial results vs. budget, forecast, and prior year. The SFA will also coordinate the finance teams' efforts in preparing the Company's long range plan and other strategic planning presentations.

The ideal candidate possesses a combination of quantitative and organizational skills grounded by firsthand experience in finance and accounting. The ideal individual will have strong fundamental knowledge of forecasting and financial planning while driving tight collaboration and consistency throughout the sales leadership teams and the Global Finance function.

You will be responsible for: Sales Forecasting, Financial Budget, Forecast, Strategic Planning Process, Monthly Financial Close, High-Level Forecast (HLF), Financial Presentations and Asia Pacific Financial Leadership & Support

  • Develop strong relationships with each regional sales leadership team and their sales operations staff.

  • Drive improved sales forecast quality by representing the global finance organization in cross-functional initiatives involving IT, Marketing, Sales, and other stakeholders.

  • Represent the global finance organization in the company-wide project to implement Integrated Business Planning

  • Coordinate the issuing of budget and forecast guidance from Finance Leadership to all regions and functional areas in the company.

  • Develop the detailed plan and calendar for the budget and each financial forecast that complies with the high-level financial calendar provided by the parent company.

  • Schedule and lead regular meetings of relevant finance team members for review of budget and forecast deliverables.

  • Coordinate the preparation of the finance sections for company long-range strategic plan presentations.

  • Support the monthly financial close process as assigned by Finance Leadership.

  • Prepare monthly HLF updates in the required format for upload to Hyperion.

  • Coordinate the preparation of monthly financial reporting presentation decks and prepare necessary commentary analyzing results vs. budget, forecast, and prior year.

  • Provide financial analysis and decision support to the Vice President, APAC.

  • Coordinate budgets and forecasts from Japan, China, and APAC Dealer groups.

  • Prepare monthly Regional Business Review financial commentaries and present finance sections to the Senior Leadership Team.

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required with preference for Finance or Accounting

  • Master's of Business Administration preferred

  • Minimum of three years of successful experience working in a Finance role (preferably in forecasting or financial planning).

  • Financial performance and profitability metrics

  • Best practices in sales and operations forecasting, as well as financial planning.

  • Analytic systems and reporting tools

  • Make proficient use of technology tools such as SAP, Hyperion, Salesforce, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, with minimal assistance

  • Develop strategies, action plans, and metrics to monitor results
