BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Production Supervisor III in Woodinville, Washington

Oversee a team of production chemists. Responsible for training, scheduling and manufacturing of highly regulated reagents for use in the BioPlex 2200 diagnostic product line. Management of resources, including personnel, equipment and facilities, to meet production plan. Responsible for continuous improvement, equipment planning and operator training within the team to fulfill long term production plans including increased volume and New Products Introduced. Daily measurement of output and active countermeasures to address gaps. Serves as an active member of production leadership team in support of BioPlex 2200, EIA, and IFA product lines at Seattle Operations. Leader of manufacturing in daily management meetings to measure and address gaps to production plan. Supports Productions teams to ensure day to day activities are completed per plan. Develops and executes training plans to ensure operators are competent in GMP manufacturing processes and compliant with SOPs and supporting regulations. Monitors and provides metrics on team performance, projects, and activities. Guides efforts of team in support of goals, quality systems requirements, FDA regulations, and ISO registration requirements. Acts as manufacturing leadership representative on Material Review Board, NPI projects and planning/budgeting projects. Coordinates and directs projects and blocking issue countermeasures, making detailed timelines/plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of quality investigation strategies. Supports execution of validation strategy in coordination with MSAT/QA in compliance with FDA/ISO guidelines and regulations. Represents production team on Capital expenditure projects to meet growth and continuous improvement targets. What You Bring: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an engineering, chemistry and/or biology or related field. Work Experience: 7+ years manufacturing production experience, preferably in a regulated environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience. 5+ years of supervisory experience. Direct Communication. Ability to engage team and effectively harness their talents for safety, quality, productivity improvements. Understands importance of strong Lean processes. Knowledge of production, validation, and equipment in regulated environment. Coaching, development and management skills.
