The Spa at Willows Lodge offers luxury therapeutic and relaxation spa services to our clientele of local and hotel guests.
What you will have an opportunity to do:
SUMMARY
Perform massage, body and hydrotherapy treatments, and provide personal attention to each guest
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Perform various types of massage treatments i.e., Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, etc.
Prepare and maintain treatment area supplies daily
Ensure the privacy of each guest
Maintain the cleanliness and neatness of facility
Conduct tours of the facility as needed, to ensure a pleasant visit of each guest
Maintain consistent spa inventory and order supplies as needed
Promote and sell massage and body products
Attend weekly and/or monthly departmental staff meetings as requested
Attend product knowledge training as required
Work cooperatively with other departments
Perform special tasks as requested by the Spa Manager or Spa Director
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
Hiring wage range: 36% commission for services provided. Hourly equivalent for commission ranges from $40 - $44. Hourly tips average ranges from $21 to $24.
Retail commission of 15% of retail sales
Eligible for 401(k) retirement plan with employer match following 1 year of service under our existing plan
26 hours of sick pay accrued in the first year based on an employee working 20 hours/week
18 hours of paid time off accrued in the first year based on an employee working 20 hours/week
What are we looking for?
Q UALIFICATIONS
Proficiency in all components of massage, body and hydrotherapy, i.e., anatomy and physiology
Proficiency in performing a variety of body treatments in addition to being well versed in new developments, i.e., Exfoliations, masks, body polish, herbal wraps, etc.
Previous luxury spa experience preferred
Valid WA State Massage License
Ability to lift 20-30 pounds
Ability to stand for long periods of time
Weekend schedule availability
