Job Title: Material Handler

Job Description

As a Material Handler, you will be responsible for cleaning and loading all hoppers as required, maintaining material handling equipment, conveyors, and drying equipment. You will mix, batch, and blend material for production, weigh and mix color concentrates with raw materials, and verify weights before and after each production run to ensure accurate inventory movement. You will update the IQMS system for quantities consumed and maintain inventory control of materials using the FIFO method with traceability. You will ensure all containers are accurately marked with material identification, check dryer settings against the approved setup sheet, troubleshoot and adjust dryers, act as a relief operator as needed, and check the color of parts using a colorimeter or color chip before releasing parts for production. Additionally, you will create MRO work orders for any materials equipment maintenance.
