BIO RAD LABORATORIES - 390 Manufacturing Scientist I in Woodinville, Washington

As the Bio-Rad, Manufacturing Scientist I, you will attend Daily Management Meetings, addressing Key Metrics and Roadblocks in Manufacturing. You will follow up with short-term tasks necessary to support production, such as deviation reports or date extensions. Work independently or collaboratively on current investigations or validations, which might include lab work, data analysis, protocol or report writing and cross-functional reviews to ensure supply of at risk materials for critical products. Also, you'll attend Material Review Board meeting which addresses Quality Management issues for the site. How You'll Make An Impact: Become a subject matter expert in immunoassay processes, bioconjugation and protein purification in order to troubleshoot technical challenges in production. Ensure continuous supply of quality product (on time in full) to customers by working collaboratively with cross functional groups to efficiently implement process improvements. Establish project plans to ensure deliverables are completed to expectations. Develop experimental plans to qualify and validate manufacturing processes; analyze results, make recommendations and write reports. Ensure compliance by documenting Deviation Reports and CAPA investigations and implementations. What You Bring: Education/Experience: Bachelor's Degree in Scientific field, in biologic and/or chemistry disciplines with industry experience in a regulated environment. Process validation/risk management skills. Experience working in ERP systems such as SAP. Strong documentation and communication (written and verbal) skills Proactive and creative approach to problem solving, utilizing critical thinking and prioritization. Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $87,800.00 to $120,700.00 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
