Engineering Technician Category: Manufacturing & Production Employment Type: Contract Reference: BH-375735 Engineering Tech needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific's client located in Woodinville, WA. This position is for a molecular diagnostics manufacturer and the team is looking for candidates with experience in IVD medical device industry is required. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 1st shift. Responsibilities Maintenance, service and troubleshooting dispensing equipment; conveyor belts; printers; box forming and closing equipment and sealing equipment - mechanical attitude and strong problem-solving skills. Performs with PMs, equipment service, and installation. Diagnoses root cause of malfunction and perform maintenance on electronic or operational equipment. Maintains system logs or manuals to document testing or operation of equipment. Troubleshoots, adjusts, reassembles, or replaces defective or improperly functioning circuitry, electronic components, or other equipment. Supports manufacturing equipment with moderate guidance and direction. Strong working knowledge of specific equipment to be supported. Frequently addresses problems and recommends possible alternatives. Recommends course of action based on knowledge, experience, and company goals. Successfully completes small projects with low to moderate complexity with minimal guidance. Qualifications Course work in Engineering/ Scientific field or equivalent hands-on industry experience. 1-4years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Mechanical service/repair experience is required. Hands-on experience in maintaining automated production lines is highly desirable. Technical experience in a regulated manufacturing environment (ex. pharma, medical device, life sciences). Opportunity is Calling, Apply Now!
