DescriptionDuties include but not limited to:Be a role model in projecting and applying The Pacific Group Diamond Philosophy (Productivity, Quality, Excellence and Teamwork) and promote teamwork at all timesAssist operations management in audit preparation for internal and/or external reviewProject Manager for key projects in alignment with business objectivesIdentify appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)Conduct potential safety hazard assessmentsReview and update safety programs when there are changes at the plant or as requiredCoordinate training of safety programs for all team membersConduct training sessions to ensure workplace safety standards of production with employees and maximize a safe working environmentImplement compliance inspection programs for facilities and equipmentManage and maintain material safety data sheets (MSDS) for inventory and distributionEnsure safety committee meetings are being conducted at all locationsConduct initial and refresher training for all OSHA and core safety programsPerform safety audits at various plantsResearch occupational safety information to assure the best available methods and equipment are adopted to minimize the hazards in the workplaceProvide information, signs, posters, barriers, and other materials to warn of potential and actual safety hazards and to prevent access to hazardous conditions.Development of standard operating procedures, trend analysis and equipment modifications studiesEnsure locations are maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation on annual training, audits and safety work ordersPerform other duties, as assignedQualificationsBehaviorsFunctional Expert - Considered a thought leader on a subjectTeam Player - Works well as a member of a groupDedicated - Devoted to a task or purpose with loyalty or integrityMotivationsGoal Completion - Inspired to perform well by the completion of tasksSkillsBilingual (preferred)Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with DisabilitiesThe contractor will not discharge or in any other manner discriminate against employees or applicants because they have inquired about, discussed, or disclosed their own pay or the pay of another employee or applicant.
