SUMMARY: Collect and analyze incoming bulk ingredients, save samples as required. Analyze process from concentrate through filtration using refractometer, spectrophotometer, turbidimeter, titrator, colorimeter and vitamin C titrator using specifications to ensure raw product integrity. Monitor finished product quality using before mentioned instruments. Maintain accurate, detailed and complete documentation to ensure finished product integrity. Maintain communication with operators and supervisors. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision for testing, distance vision, color vision for testing and seeing color, peripheral vision to observe two processes, depth perception for working with equipment and the ability to adjust focus for seeing defective material.
