Wenatchee, WA, USA 16.38-18.96 Full Time \$1,500 sign-on bonus paid through 30 days, 90 days and 6 months of employment. Competitive benefits available after 60 days of employment. PURPOSE: In a proper and timely manner, prepare and stack the filled product containers onto the correct pallet for storage and shipment. SUMMARY: Place finished product on pallets in proper increments per specification. Notify the Packaging Operator when the pallet is full and start on a new pallet. De-palletize product and feed to rework line. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. Regular and predictable attendance is essential to this role. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. Prepare Box for Palletizing: Tape or secure lid as required Seal or fold liner as required, shake product down, and heat seal Change label as required per pallet Ensure product is to specification prior to shipping Product Rework: Dump box on blend line De-palletize pallet Open box and prepare for dumping Observe product for defects Blend pallets as directed by Packaging Operator and/or Supervisor Dump product per rework procedures Communicate in an Effective Manner: Communicate product information to Package Operator/Supervisor at shift change Communicate pallet completion to co-workers Notify Packaging Operator and Supervisor when problems occur Alert Supervisor, Operator and/or Mechanics of any packaging or mechanical problems Coordinate with co-workers to meet process demands Ensure proper palletization per the specification Industrial and Food Safety: Follow proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures/standards. Follow all Haz-Com and Chemical Safety procedures/standards. Follow all Good Manufacturing Practice procedures and standards. Follow all Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point procedure/standards. Wear required and appropriate Personal Protective Equipment at all times. Identify and address all unsafe conditions and unsafe acts - Report to Supervisor on shift Follow all other applicable safety rules and regulations. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months to one-year position-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write, and speak and understand in English, in order to interpret documents such as specifications, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with co-workers and supervisors. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentages.
