This includes direct supervision of Data Entry Submission Specialists in Crisis Services, including Youth Mobile Crisis Services and Diversion services. This position provides leadership and direction in monitoring work assignments, ensuring adequate coverage, ensuring accurate data submission, relaying accurate and timely information to staff and completing work in a timely, professional fashion according to data submission standards. Responsibilities: Lead Activities: Provides oversight and supervision for all Crisis Services Data Entry Submission Specialists. Coordinates staffing schedules and designation of responsibilities. Leads team meetings for Data Entry Submission Specialist/Program Assistant Staff. Completes annual performance evaluations for all supervisees. Trains new Data Entry Submission Specialist staff on all aspects of Carelogic documentation as related to their positions and provides refresher training as needed. Provides backup for administrative staff as needed. Quality Improvement Activities: Reviews client enrollment data and clinical documentation to ensure compliance with federal, state, MCO, and county regulations. Gathers data and prepares reports for posting accurate data. Compiles, sorts documents, verifies accuracy of data, and identifies and interprets data to be entered Verifies that all data entered is correct before posting services. Posts all services in a timely fashion to meet MCO guidelines for all Mental Health program services. Participates in MCO meetings for data updates as needed and/or requested. Data Entry Activities: Ensures all ITA petitions are filed no later than the next judicial day following the initial petition. Contacts originators of source documents to resolve questions, inconsistencies, or missing data. Reviews error reports and enters corrections into computer system. Files or routes source documents after entry. Reads all progress notes, runs service history and failed activities report and compares duration, service codes and location code to note written content. Continuous knowledge of CPT codes and each code description. Assists with medical records as needed. Tracks clinical error rates and reports to supervisors as needed. Utilizes knowledge of Service Encounter Reporting Instructions and keeps track of changes. Assures discreet handling of all business and records. Practices confidentiality in accordance with agency policy. Performs other duties as assigned.
