TREE TOP INC Custodian - Wenatchee Plant in West Wenatchee, Washington
SUMMARY: Clean restrooms, empty trash, mop and wax floors, clean windows, clean lunchrooms, vacuum, maintain entrance to plant, shovel snow, oil and polish woodwork, and notify management of inventory/supply status. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. All of the following are to be performed while adhering to Tree Top operational policies, safety rules, procedures and good manufacturing practices. It is the responsibility of every employee at Tree Top Inc. to report food safety and food quality problems or risks to personnel with the authority to initiate action against these said possible risks. The Organization chart indicated key personnel with the authority to take action. This is a representative sample--not to imply a complete listing of all responsibilities and tasks. Maintain sanitary environment, clean non-work areas of the plant, disinfect, vacuum, mop and wax floors, wash walls and windows, clean lunchroom areas. Remove trash, empty receptacles as needed, dispose of trash appropriately, clear smoking areas of debris. Keep restrooms supplied with paper, soap and sanitary items, fill dispensers as needed, clean restrooms. Maintain attractive appearance at Main Entrance, shovel snow and use deicer as required, use snow blower as required. Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding malfunctions of utilities, order supplies, work on special projects as needed. Assist coworkers and demonstrate teamwork. Follow proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, HAZCOM, chemical safety, wear required personal protective equipment, report unsafe conditions/acts to a supervisor. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, reach, feel objects, tools, or controls. Reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, talk, hear, taste or smell. Sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Frequently lift and/ or move up to 50lbs. WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is/or could be exposed to extreme heat, moving mechanical parts, wet and/or humid conditions, electrical shock, high precarious positions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, all weather conditions, vibrations, and loud noise.
