Job Title: Welder

Position Summary:

We are in search of experienced Structural Steel Welders for primarily fieldwork with a focus on stick welding (using 7018). Additionally, candidates will perform MIG welding (using 4010 dual shield) in the shop. A valid WABO card and proficiency in reading blueprints and welding specifications are required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute stick welding in field environments, ensuring high-quality and durable welds.

• Perform MIG welding in the shop as needed.

• Interpret blueprints and welding specifications for structural metal assembly and fabrication.

• Safely operate and maintain welding tools and equipment.

• Conduct visual inspections of welds and make necessary repairs.

• Follow safety procedures and keep the work area clean and organized.

• Assist with general shop tasks and occasional metal fabrication.

Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM

Qualifications:

• Certification: WABO card required.

• Welding Skills:

• Expertise in stick welding with 7018 (field)

• MIG welding with 4010 dual shield (shop)

• Technical Skills:

• Proficient in reading blueprints and welding specifications.

• Experience in operating and maintaining welding equipment.

• Ability to perform visual inspections of welds.
