NOW HIRING A LEAD JOURNEYMAN PLUMBER IN WENATCHEE FOR DIRECT PLACEMENT!! Looking for Licensed Plumber (PL01) who is responsible for the completion of full day to multi-day projects for After Hours Plumbing & Heating, Inc. This individual routinely works directly with service and install technicians, dispatch personnel and managers to ensure customer satisfaction while meeting departmental goals and objectives. The Plumbing Project Leader often communicates directly with the Plumbing Service Manager, Dispatch, Customers, Vendors and Suppliers to ensure accurate communication of job or project status and requirements. PAY: $35-$37/hr DOE BENEFITS: Medical & PTO.

Responsibilities Include:

  • The Plumbing Project Leader completes projects by successfully performing the following tasks,

  • Provides onsite guidance, training, and direction to apprentice(s) Ensures safety, budget, job quality, and timely completion of each assigned project

  • Strong relationship building skills with team, general contractors, owners/customers, and vendors to lead a positive work environment

  • Studies job specifications and drawings to plan procedures for construction on basis of starting and completion times and staffing requirements for each phase of construction, based on

  • knowledge of available tools and equipment and various building methods.

  • Makes decisions by analyzing information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems

  • Requires Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for anyone entering and/or working on job site at all times

  • Interprets blueprints and building specifications to map layout for pipes, drainage systems, and other plumbing materials Installs pipes for water, gas, steam, air or other liquids Installs supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures prior to installation

  • Assembles fittings and valves for installation

  • Tests plumbing systems for leaks and other problems

  • Analyzes problems and identifies appropriate tools and materials for repair

  • Chooses plumbing materials based on budget, location, and intended uses of building

  • Follows health and safety standards and complies with building codes

  • Writes report documenting the problem and summary of actions taken Performs inspections of plumbing systems to identify and replace worn parts Prepares bids and oversees projects to completion Other tasks and responsibilities as required to maintain efficient department operations

  • Have 2 verifiable work references who can speak to your Plumbing Experience

  • Able to pass a Background Check
