Aerotek Equipment Technician in Wenatchee, Washington

Description:

Hiring for Manufacturing Equipment Operations Technicians & Equipment Build Technicians who will be responsible for building, operating and maintaining proprietary plasma reactor tools and semiconductors in Wenatchee, WA. Must have a desire to work on a rotating 3 day schedule, 6-6.

Equipment Ops Tech- Mostly focused on Routine & Preventative Maintenance. Paying attention to the machines and fine tune troubleshooting Equipment Build Tech- Mostly focused on Building the proprietary reactors and tools, with special projects and continuously changing assignments

Build the sub-assemblies for the plasma CVD reactors which have complex computer controlled electro-mechanical, high vacuum, high power microwave, and high pressure gas systems. A coordinate measuring machine (CMM) inspection of critical components. Test the finished tools by following the equipment qualification procedure. Diligently follow the assembling instructions and assembly drawings. Create and update the parts inspection and tool assembling documentation, and records as needed. Work with team members and independently with a high degree of initiative to support and maintain good manufacturing processes and continuous improvements. Communicate tool build status and issues in a timely manner to team members and management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Must Have) 3+ years Hands on mechanical maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, Strong understanding of safety within heavily regulated environments, following strict policies & procedures Ability to Troubleshoot & problem solve, strong attention to detail and ownership in quality

Nice to Have) Associates or Certification in a technical field OR successful military technical training experience Previous Semiconductor, vacuum systems or plasma experience in a technical role Experience with testing & inspections

Additional Qualifications) Manufacturing or vacuum equipment (CVD, PVD) experience a plus. Ability to troubleshoot high vacuum systems, RF or microwave systems (generators, waveguides, tuners) using schematics, drawings, piping diagrams or equipment manuals and specifications Ability to perform vacuum leak check is a plus Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude in facility equipment required (pumps, motors, compressors, heat exchangers, VFDs, PLCs, etc.), compressed gas control, purification, and monitoring systems a plus Familiarity using PPF and safe practices when working with HV, microwave, compressed gases, and chemicals. Familiarity with safe practices when working with high voltage, RF, compressed gases, and chemicals Good computer skills, and MS-Office (or Google apps equivalent)Excellent written and oral communication skills Documentation experience a plus
