Our location in Washougal, WA, has an excellent opportunity for an Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position involves a wide range of responsibilities, including installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of production and facility equipment. The technician is expected to follow safety protocols and utilize predictive and preventative maintenance systems and processes to contribute to the overall success of Fitesa's business objectives.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Maintenance Technicians perform preventive maintenance and skilled repairs on complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Follows standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Maintenance Technician includes performing equipment failure analysis to complete preventive and unscheduled maintenance. Troubleshooting and diagnosing equipment problems. Additionally, Maintenance Technicians log equipment modifications and maintenance details in the designated system. Follow all safety procedures. The position reports to the Maintenance manager. The Maintenance Technician works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Processes a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Associates Degree in a Technical field strongly preferred. One to three plus years manufacturing maintenance experience and/or relevant field.

Possess communication skills to relate effectively with people of diverse backgrounds.

Technical Competencies:

Minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in electrical and/or mechanical maintenance.

Basic electrical skills
