Providence Senior Marketing Specialist, Marketing Technology Administration *Remote* in Washington

Providence Health Plan is calling a Senior Marketing Specialist, Marketing Technology Administration who will:

  • Develop and manage marketing and communications plans

  • Support the operations of our highest profile programs, services, institutions and organizations

Essential Functions:

  • Develop marketing technology plans for our highest profile business or service lines

  • Enhance marketing technology plans by contributing ideas that enable Providence to better connect with target audiences needs and perspectives and improve their experience with Providence

  • Lead project management technology execution

  • Coordinate with assigned writers, designers, web designers and web producers to complete high quality marketing and technology programs on time and within budget, consistent with approved plans

  • Manages Marketing and Communication Services budget for assigned area(s) of responsibility

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development of business and marketing technology strategy for assigned area(s) of responsibility

  • Work directly with business partners to assess their business objectives and needs

  • Provide marketing technology and communications counsel

  • Collaborate on the development and execution of marketing technology and communications plans

  • Establish strong relationships with business partners and team members by building strong rapport, effective communication and strong project management skills

Job Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of marketing and communications fundamentals, proven by instincts and past strategic and marketing technology work

  • Demonstrated high-level technical understanding of business requirements as they pertain to Project Management principles and the project lifecycle including demonstrated excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability in issue identification and triage, issue life-cycle management, and platform technical support

  • Highly proficient in project management software (e.g., Workfront or similar) administration

  • Knowledge of the latest marketing technology trends (and in the case of Providence Health Plan applicants, business-business marketing technology trends)

  • Must exhibit a keen understanding of project management and marketing and contribute these insights to strategic planning, the creative process, marketing plan development and tactical execution

  • Strong project management skills to flawlessly manage multiple projects and constituencies in a fast-paced environment

We welcome 100% remote work for residents who live in the following areas: Washington, Oregon

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or Liberal Arts

  • 5+ years relevant marketing experience, including proven experience in developing and executing marketing plans that deliver an emotional connection with target audiences (consumers, patrons, patients, physicians and/or employers) and strong business results

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree in a relevant field of study

  • Experience developing and executing marketing technology plans and strategy

  • Experience leading Project Management Technology Execution

  • Experience managing multiple projects in a fast paced environment

  • Knowledge of marketing technology trends

  • Healthcare experience
