Edwards Lifesciences Senior Manager, Product Data Steward in Washington

Key Responsibilities and Scope:

Our Senior Manager, Product Data Steward will develop and plan larger continuous development projects and activities as it relates operational data management practices

  • Anticipate trends and lead the optimization of centralized master data management process for master data domains (such as but not limited to Product Data, Supplier Data, etc)

  • Lead the implementation and enhancement of regional DQ rules while focusing on data quality improvement and provide recommendations for complex challenges and provide technical guidance to stakeholders

  • Responsible for leading data projects and develop automated solutions in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., Robotics Process Automation)

  • Lead the definition and enhancement of business KPIs

  • Establish and lead the implementation of standard methodologies for the data components of IT and Business Projects in partnership with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT Architecture) to ensure the alignment of the IT support systems to Business Data requirements

  • Act as the business lead for the global maintenance of MDM, Master Data Quality and the Global Data Catalogue

  • Act as the business lead for the global Master Data Quality and the Global Data Catalogue

  • Provide technical guidance and knowledge transfer to data operations team on new and emerging technologies/processes

  • Provide data management insights into regional business needs and challenges to key stakeholders across Business Units and Functions

  • Lead the approval and publication of the Corporate Data Policy and supporting guidelines, standards and procedures

  • Define data validation, verification, and reconciliation strategy to support data governance, stewardship, permissible use and security. Responsible for establishing global consistency for data definitions, taxonomies, business rules and standards with operational business data stewards that improve data quality, data integration and self-service analytics.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical field plus 10 years of previous related experience OR

  • Master's degree in related field with 8 years of previous related experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated track record in people management

  • Experience working in a large manufacturing company

  • Experience in data management and with DQ tools with business insights

  • Certification in related disciplines

  • ERP/PLM experience

Additional Knowledge/Experience:

  • Recognized as an expert in own sub-function(s) and/or area(s) within the organization with broad-based advanced knowledge within the organization

  • Expert understanding of related aspects of business systems processes and/or systems

  • Stay current with latest platform features

  • Proven successful project management skills

  • Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and related tools and systems

  • Excellent documentation and communication skills and interpersonal relationship skills including negotiating and relationship management skills with ability to drive achievement of objectives

Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.

For Colorado, the base pay range for this position is $126,000 to $147,000 (highly experienced).

For New York City, the base pay range for this position is $136,000 to $158,000 (highly experienced).

The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
