Providence Principal Strategy and Planning Consultant *Remote* in Washington

Providence Health Plan is calling a Principal Strategy Consultant who will:

  • Play an integral part of the Providence Health Plan (PHP) Corporate Strategy team as a flexible problem solver who will engage in a broad array of topics

  • Provide hands-on management of a portfolio of initiatives including but not limited to:

  • Strategic roadmap management

  • Development of strategy KPIs and performance monitoring

  • Market and business case research and modeling

  • Execution of strategic partnerships

  • Diligence

  • Other M&A activities and other strategic topics

  • Be responsible for early scoping through completion

  • Leverage both qualitative and quantitative capabilities to inform and shape decision making for initiatives

  • Create materials to support executive forum decisions and engagement

  • Serve as an analytic, critical thinker, and partner to PHP's Strategy leadership and PHP executives

  • Flexibly responds to needs working effectively with people at all levels in the organization to develop recommendations and support change

  • This position is affiliated with Providence Health Plan and will be tied to a location and compensation range in Portland, Oregon

Required qualifications for this position include:

  • Bachelor's Degree: Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Health Administrations, or related discipline

  • 3+ years of experience in healthcare, healthcare operations, or related fields, with background in consulting

  • 3+ years of progressively increasing responsibility with problem solving and project management experience of complex, multi-regional, strategically important initiatives in a role that covered M&A, management consulting, finance and strategy, and/or business development with background in consulting

  • 3+ years of change management, facilitation, and process improvement methodologies with substantial project management experience of complex, multi regional, strategically important initiatives in consulting

Preferred qualifications for this position include:

  • Master's Degree: Business Administration, Health Administration, Public Health Administration or related discipline
