Job Description Summary Pick up and deliver bagged samples of raw product Job Description * * Picks up bagged samples of raw product from assigned storages and bring samples back to the plant or other designated area. * Responsible for operating Company-assigned vehicles in a safe manner and for performing pre-trip inspections of the vehicle. * Refuels vehicle as needed. * Actively practices and abides by all Company work, safety and personal hygiene rules and regulations. * Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead personnel Basic & Preferred Qualifications * Possess a valid Washington State Driver's License appropriate for the vehicle being driven. * Communicate in the English language in both oral and written form. * Read and comprehend traffic road signs, symbols, maps, simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos written in English. * Operate a CB or 2-way radio * Effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors and other employees of the organization. * Assess and evaluate road conditions, think critically, and utilize good judgment to make decisions regarding safe travel. * Meet physical requirements of the job. * Climb in and out of the cab of the pickup truck provided. * Lift up to 50 lbs on a continuous basis. * Work safely around traffic from trucks, tractors, forklifts and other personnel. * Follow company policies and procedures.
