Our client, a leader in the composites manufacturing industry, is seeking a Composites Engineer to join their team. As a Composites Engineer, you will be part of a dynamic team supporting innovative projects that enhance mobility and sustainability. The ideal candidate will have strong collaboration skills, a continuous improvement mindset, and a passion for developing high-performance composite structures, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Composites Engineer

Location: Wapato, WA

Pay Range: $80,000 - $100,000

What's the Job?

• Test new materials for compatibility in existing processes.

• Drive process and material change to enhance production efficiency.

• Develop and document process designs, molds, tooling, and fixtures for structural composite products.

• Create Work Instructions for processes and products.

• Assist with root cause analysis and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

What's Needed?

• Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or a similar engineering field.

• Minimum of 5 years direct manufacturing experience.

• Proficiency in CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.

• Experience in Lean manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or other Continuous Improvement tools.

• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and shop prints.
