The City of Walla Walla offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical, vision, and dental health insurance. NATURE OF POSITION:
Perform skilled technical work in the maintenance, repair, operation and inspection of traffic markings, signs, signals, illumination and control systems and equipment. Maintain and repair overhead and underground communications systems; install and maintain conduits, wiring, concrete foundations for signal/light poles and signal cabinet pedestals. Train and provide direction to assigned staff. Coordinate with engineering staff to ensure compliance and operation within federal, state, and city standards.
REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma, or GED equivalent and two years journey-level experience in the installation, maintenance and calibration of electronic control or measuring devices and electronics. Possess current State Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with air brake and tanker endorsements.
