Salary Range: $27.151 - $34.662/hour

[NATURE OF POSITION:]{.underline}

Perform skilled technical work in a variety of building, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical trades pertaining to the maintenance and repair of City buildings, facilities, and equipment. 

 

[REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:]{.underline}

Graduation from high school or GED equivalent, and four (4) years' experience in one or more of the building trades.  Must have ability to perform at a journey level in at least two (2) or more technical trades which include but are not limited to HVAC, electrical, carpentry, plumbing. Completion of an accredited vocational education program in any one of the above technical trades can be substituted for two (2) years of the four (4) years required journey level experience, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.  Valid state driver's license. Obtain Aquatic Facility Operators certification within six months of hire.  Obtain forklift safety and operation training certification, background, and security check, first aid, and CPR certifications within first six months of employment. 

 

[DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:]{.underline}

Valid CFC 608 Universal Technician Certification, and experience in building HVAC automation systems, welding, and fabrication. Washington state electrical license and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word. Bilingual in Spanish.
