Automotive Service Advisor

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic, community-oriented Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing dealership's service team. Service advisors assist in delivering remarkable experiences to our customers and are responsible to provide intake, consultation and advice regarding service and maintenance to our customers. They offer logical diagnostic services or repairs in response to the customer's concerns and provide accurate estimates for all the services or repairs recommended.

Service Advisor Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming calls.
  • Greet and assist customers, treating them with courtesy and respect.
  • Serve as liaison between the customer and the different departments in the dealership.
  • Educate customers about company products and make sure customers are aware of any promotions.
  • Listen to customer concerns, manage returns, and resolve complaints.
  • Log customer details and comments in our system.
  • Schedule appointments and create repair orders.
  • Ask questions to assist in diagnostics of vehicle issues.
  • Track progress of each vehicle and communicate progress to customer.
  • Answer customers' questions regarding vehicle repairs and assessed costs.
  • Process payments from customer upon completion of services.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Assisting with various other tasks at the dealership.

     

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: From $3,500.00 minimum per month, with earnings potential of $6000.00 per month

Schedule:

  • Full time, weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

  • Commission pay

Service Advisor Requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, with an ability to learn quickly.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office software and the internet.
  • Professional and personable demeanor.
  • Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.
