AWS Support provides global technical support to a wide range of external customers as they build mission-critical applications on top of AWS services such as Amazon S3 and Amazon EC2. The team is a self-standing P&L with our ability to drive both Amazon Free Cash Flow and world class customer experience. We have a team of talented engineers located in multiple locations around the world, and are growing rapidly.

AWS Support is seeking an operationally focused PM. You will work on a program that uses the latest AWS technologies to improve the experience of our frontline staff, so they can better help our AWS customers. In this role you will be surrounded by people that are smart, passionate about cloud computing, and who believe world class support services are critical to customer success. You will have direct influence on how thousands of people around the world leverage tools, interact with customers, and engage with internal engineering teams to ensure we respond quickly to the needs of our customers.

As a Senior AWS Support PM you will:

· Enable transparency and decision-making across AWS leadership by providing critical communication and clear status of the initiatives you own.

· Manage programs to continuously improve our capabilities as AWS continues to grow.

· Work across teams to ensure we continue merging internal support capabilities with best-in-class customer experience as new services and features are launched.

· Unify distributed engineering efforts and own plans to deliver quality outcomes for our customers.

· Bring your expertise, problem solving skills, and creativity to add value to our team.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· 5+ years of experience in program or project management

· Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

· Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. In lieu of degree, additional years of hands-on experience may be substituted

· 5+ years of program or project management, including indirect influencing of technical teams and stakeholders, in a global, matrix organization.

· 3+ or more years of cloud computing experience

· Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple functions.

· Demonstrated knowledge across a broad spectrum of technologies, tools, and architecture

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experience communicating technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

· Experience in a Software Development Team or working within Agile frameworks.
