Warehouse Associate20210093POSITION SUMMARY: The Warehouse Associate position is responsible for picking products listed on sales orders and packing the material to be shipped to the customer. RESPONSIBILITIES: *Review sales orders to determine which materials and quantities must be picked from warehouse. *Prioritize sales orders based on ship dates *Operate forklift to pull materials from the shelves. *Upon completion of picking orders, submit to senior co-worker to check for accuracy and to sign off on order. *Once orders have been picked and approved by checked, box products using appropriate packing materials. *Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse. *When needed, use proper safety equipment such as back brace, harness, hard hat, safety shoes and other protective gear. *Complete additional miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: *Ability to lift up to 65 pounds without injury or harm. *Ability to push and pull up to 65 lbs in weight. *Excessive walking and prolonged standing. *Repetitive reaching, lifting, pulling and pushing. *Repetitive kneeling, stooping, bending, and squatting. *Able to climb stairs. *Forceful gripping, grasping, and twisting. QUALIFICATIONS: *High school diploma or GED is required. *Prior experience in a distribution environment using an RF scanner is highly preferred. *At least 1 year of experience with forklift operation, specifically a cherry picker and sit down is required. *Knowledge of products carried by the company, pipes, valves, and fittings, is highly preferred Vancouver, Washington, United StatesFull-Time/RegularEqual Employment Opportunity/M/F/disability/protected veteran statusApply Here:
