Job Title: Transportation Design Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking entry-level Roadway/Transportation Designers with experience in any of roadway, traffic, intersection, water/sewer, storm water, structural, and fish passage design. The successful candidate will independently manage multiple projects and complete them within established timelines. The role involves a range of tasks including creating engineering designs for local, state, and federal highway transportation projects, cost estimation, execution of designs, model creation, and detailed geometric designs using CAD. The role does not require an EIT certification.

Hard Skills

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Vancouver, Washington.

Work Environment

• The work environment offers a 9/80 work schedule, allowing for every other Friday off.

• Typical working hours are from 7 am to 5 pm, with some flexibility as long as they are consistent.

• We are looking for a candidate who can work in-office to foster collaboration with our team of 3-4 designers and a principal, and to ensure consistent project communication.
