Description
This role is a position of analysis, partnership, influence, and leadership within the overall team, responsible for ensuring that insights and reporting are gleaned for the toner business. This person will develop new analytical techniques to gain customer insights on why customers choose to use HP Original supplies. This person will ensure those insights are leveraged across the A3 & A4 business units
Provide insights on toners supplies business
Ability to focus and prioritize deliverables with multiple requests and stakeholders.
Develop consistent and reliable analytical techniques: Big Data andthird-party and financial metrics
Partner with driver and forecasting teams on a regular cadence
Ramp the toner big data and 3rd party analytics capabilities
Influence management and leadership
Pro-actively influence business planning and product strategy based on business insights.
Develop new capabilities and analytical techniques using artificial intelligence and machine learning that result in business growth for the toner business
Deliver critical and relevant insights and direction to cross-functional leadership
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills are required.
Able to produce crisp and actionable insights that drive business planning and strategy. Clearly articulate what it means with thebusiness. Work with key stakeholders to influence business decisions.
Drive continuous improvement and advancements in data analytics
Advance data analytic tools to identify Market Share risks and future quarter outlook: velocity, acceleration, online reporting, etc.
Ad Hoc requests provide as needed support regarding desk reviews, business reviews, and any relevant upper management analyses, presentations, or checkpoints.

Responsibilities
Mines data using modern tools and programming languages.
Defines and implements models to uncover patterns and predictions creating business value and innovation.
Works with project team to understand problem statements, initiates and direction.
Tells stories with the data using visualization tools/methods to demonstrate insight impact.
Assures accuracy, integrity, and compliance of cleansed data.
Maintains proficiency within the data science domain by keeping up with technology and trend shifts.
Collaborates and communicates with project team regarding project progress and issue resolution and suggests changes or improvements.
Knowledge & Skills
Using statistics, mathematics, algorithms and programming languages.
Ability to apply analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of disparate unstructured and structured data in a distributed environment.
Solid grasp of structured and unstructured data and modern data transformation methodologies
Ability to create models to pull valuable insights from data.
Create stories and visualizations to describe and communicate data insights.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Creative.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.
Ability to effectively communicate data insights negotiate options.
Scope & Impact
Collaborates with peers, junior engineers, data scientists and project team.
Typically partners with high-level Individual Contributors and Managers.
Supports projects requiring data engineering solutions expertise.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
Typically 2-4 years’ experience including graduate or postgraduate research.
