Kforce Technical Writer in Vancouver, Washington

A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Technical Writer in Vancouver, Washington (WA).Summary:You will need to go onsite to meet with engineering teams. Once ramped there is potential to work a flexible schedule and do some of the work from home. We also offer career development courses, employee discount programs and consultant recognition. If you are interested in this position, please apply ASAP!Responsibilities include: * Work with firmware engineers to update and create document on in house system/Linux components * Technical Writer will maintain and optimize Linux Wiki * Help identify gaps in documentation * Establish standards, glossary, keywords, and terminology * Technical Writer will ensure everything is organized to enable users to effectively access documentation * Maintain and organize SharePoint * 2 years of technical writing experience * Technology background/interest in technology * Skilled with SharePoint/document management systems * Proven experience creating, editing, and publishing documents * Highly organized * Ability to think long term about how things should be laid out Kforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
