We at Providence Health Plan (PHP) Pharmacy are looking for you to join our team. We support our pharmacy plans and the member care by providing our expertise in the application of pharmacy benefits management. This means that we have a phone center and prior authorization center focus. Excellent communications skills and attention to detail are required for this role. Daily work involves an inbound call center setting that communicates directly with various departments within the health plans, members, network pharmacies, and other health care providers and their staffs regarding medication management programs and initiatives. The position also communicates directly with state and federal regulatory entities. Providence Health Plan is calling a Supervisor, Pharmacy Training and Quality Assurance who will: Supervise a team of exempt professional trainers Be responsible for instruction design with ongoing quality assurance Be accountable for all non-clinical pharmacy training in numerous format delivery not limited to instructor led training, self-review, learning management software, and individual coaching Be responsible for keeping all pharmacy resources and instructional materials up-to date as a component of continuous quality assurance Provide a quality assurance function for Providence Health Plan PHP Pharmacy non-clinical information resources Coordinate with quality improvement initiatives and projects Support ongoing day-to-day production needs and creative problem-solving Be responsible for supporting timely, accurate and compassionate member experience through caregiver training Be responsible for all training material and instruction for all lines of business, including public programs or Centers for Medicare & Medicaid CMS, Large and Small Group, Individual / federally facilitated marketplace FFM and administrative services only ASO Be responsible for improvement in training and development in production, efficiency, quality and automation for call center training, prior authorization processing, all pharmacy units, and other contacts in order to meet and exceed the service expectations of members, providers, employer groups, regulators and auditors We welcome 100% remote work for residents who reside in one of the following Regions: Oregon: Portland, Beaverton, Salem Washington : Clark County Required qualifications for this position include: Associate's Degree and 6+ years of related management / industry experience -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience Oregon Pharmacy Technician License National Pharmacy Technician Certification within 1 year of hire date 2+ years of customer service experience 1+ years of office 365 suite and MS Teams experience 2+ years of documented training and mentoring experience Preferred qualifications for this position include: Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Accounting, or another related field field of study and 4+ years management / industry experience 5+ years customer service experience 3+ years pharmacy technician experience Managed care pharmacy experience Why Join Providence?
