This temporary Senior Accountant contract role offers an excellent opportunity to enhance your financial expertise within a diverse and dynamic environment. You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our client's organization, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant standards and legal regulations.

Responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of financial statements and reporting

• Handling of monthly, quarterly, and annual account closings

• Account reconciliation and correction of discrepancies

• Dealing with audits and taxes

• Enhancing systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions where necessary

• Participation in setting financial standards and budget planning

• Supporting month-end and year-end close processes

• Use of accounting software for bookkeeping tasks and general ledger functions

  Requirements

Candidate requirements:

• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance, and all types of tax returns

• Experience with general ledger functions as well as the month-end/year-end close process

• Proficient engagement with accounting software packages

• Keen eye for detail

• Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel
