PeaceHealth, a non-profit Catholic health system, is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Charge Nurse to join our dedicated to our Medical/Surgical team at Southwest Medical Center in beautiful Vancouver, Washington. This is a Per Diem Day Shift position offering a competitive salary range of $54.21 - $78.61and a comprehensive benefits package.

About the Role:

As a Charge Nurse, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of patient care. You'll lead and mentor our nursing team, coordinate patient care, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate patient care delivery and staff assignments.

  • Supervise and assess the quality of nursing care provided.

  • Guide and mentor staff in providing compassionate care to diverse patient populations.

  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

  • Identify and implement opportunities for clinical practice improvement.

  • Participate in staff development and education.

Qualifications:

  • Required:

  • Accredited School of Nursing

  • 2 years of acute care nursing experience

  • Registered Nurse (RN) License in Washington State

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

  • ACLS within 6 months of hire.

  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills.

  • Commitment to providing patient-centered care.
