Actalent Residential CAD Drafter in Vancouver, Washington

CAD Drafter

Oversee architectural design and production for multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring team productivity and value engineering. Review and approve work from third-party design consultants. Present and revise designs as needed to ensure client satisfaction. Utilize expertise in field concepts, practices, and procedures to perform a variety of tasks with extensive problem-solving skills. Employ a high degree of creativity and latitude in design work.

Responsibilities

  • Directly manage the development of architectural designs and preliminary construction details.

  • Ensure projects are completed on time and adhere to quality standards.

  • Establish and maintain CAD standards and specifications.

  • Research and implement new products, procedures, systems, and cost analyses.

  • Coordinate with consultants, engineers, and trade partners.

  • Provide design solutions, planning, site development, and marketing opportunities.

  • Perform due diligence and ensure code compliance across all jurisdictions (city, county, state, international).

  • Prepare and design CAD drawings for submittals, permits, field change orders, and construction documents.

  • Perform CAD drafting for plot plans, complex layouts, and other documents.

  • Review civil and architectural construction documents.
