Position: Sr Data Reporting Analyst

Placement Type: 6-month contract to start, with the opportunity to convert to FTE

Worksite Location: 100% Remote

Compensation: $35-$50 hourly rate

Supervisory Responsibility: Not responsible for supervising others

Reports To: Sr Manager, Call Center Operations

Summary Overview

TEKsystems is working exclusively with a National Pet Hospital to hire a Sr Data Reporting Analyst consultant! This is your chance to join an established business operations team and be on the ground floor of a new technology transformation effort. We are building a master System of Record to consolidate and centralize Business Intelligence across multiple pet care brands.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and support existing reports.

• Create new reports to meet business needs.

• Analyze the current reporting environment and make recommendations for future improvements.

• Develop reports and KPIs for the call center.

• Utilize Power BI, Oracle APEX, and BI Publisher for report building.

• Edit semantic models for Power BI.

• Work with Azure, Databricks, ETL Tools, and Cosmos DBs in a Data Lake environment.

• Balance responsibilities between data pulling/cleaning/migrating (50%) and report development (50%).

• Collaborate cross-functionally for training and process documentation.

Technical Skills:

• 5+ years of experience developing and implementing Power BI solutions, including modeling, design, development, and testing of data visualization.

• 3+ years of experience writing and tuning SQL in a large-scale data warehouse environment.

• Experience with Oracle PL/SQL or another procedural language for data engineering such as Python or T-SQL.

• Familiarity with job-scheduling tools, such as Control M.

• Experience with Oracle Application Express (APEX) is a plus, but not required.

Non-Technical Skills:

• Strong written and oral communication skills.

• Adaptable and proactive self-starter.

• Content creation abilities.

• Excellent time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to support current state and transition to future state data and reporting needs.

• Strong experience with Microsoft stack of technologies (Azure, SQL Server).

• Experience in a call center environment is a plus.

Additional Information:

• The position is fully remote, and candidates can be located anywhere in the US, except for Alaska, Hawaii, Maine, North Dakota, South Dakota, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming.

• Hours: Monday to Friday, 40hrs a week

• Cross-training will be provided by the current Developer resource from the Marketing department.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
