Aston Carter Remote Customer Lending Rep in Vancouver, Washington

Description:

Our call center representatives are the heartbeat of Loan Depot's sales force. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our consumers who are searching for the best product that fits their needs.

Candidates will be responsible for working in an auto dialer system where outbound calls will be made to people who have showed some sort of interest in a new home loan or refinancing their current mortgage. They may have gone on Lending Tree and looked at rates and provided their contact information. Loan Depot makes cold calls to them to set people up with Loan Officers.

In this role, they will be responsible for verifying the persons information, gauging interest in one of Loan Depots programs, and ultimately working to transfer the call to a Licensed Loan Officer who will take them further in the process.

If the caller is not interested, you disposition the call as to the result (ie., don't call back, call back at a different time, answering machine, wrong number, etc.)

Calls typically take about 1-2 minutes and you will be taking about 300-400 calls per day.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

MUST HAVE

  • Ability to handle high volume phone calls (don't need call center experience, but understanding of how a call center works is key...attendance, coming back from breaks, call time and down time being monitored, etc).

  • Excellent verbal communication phone skills

  • Basic computer skills and data entry

  • Previous call center/ sales experience preferred (Retail, Serving, Bar Tending, etc)

  • High School Diploma

NICE TO HAVE

  • Call center experience

  • Mortgage experience

  • Financial services experience
