Actalent Quality Control / Quality Assurance Inspector in Vancouver, Washington

Description

Our client is seeking and experienced CWI certified QA/QC inspector to work on a sustainable aviation fuel plant project in Moses Lake, WA. This is a project-based role on a small team supporting a project manager and about 10 field crew personnel. This person would be responsible for weld mapping, quality inspection, NDE coordination, as well as document control and reporting. This will be the sole quality inspector on the team so experience and ability to be autonomous in the role is required. Key Responsibilities: Witness and perform onsite inspections Supervise and validate third-party NDE Qualify welders and validate craft certifications Initiate, maintain, and distribute QA/QC documentation and records Perform receiving inspection and notification Supervise the control of measuring and testing equipment Identifies and facilitates correction of non-conformances Facilitates internal quality audits Maintains Welding Logs and continuity reporting Maintains a positive working relationship with JHK shop, field personnel, and 3rd party NDE Authorized Inspectors Has stop work authority

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00
